Advising in an innovative partnership in aquaculture and heat network

A successful synergy between energy transition and aquaculture
Ravetto Associés, through Patrick Labayle, assisted in the signing of a partnership bringing together SMITOM du Nord Seine-et-Marne, Veolia, and Lisaqua.
The three parties have signed a contract to supply residual heat generated by the Monthyon energy recovery unit (UVE) to power France’s largest shrimp farm.
The Monthyon UVE already produces more than 65,000 MWh/year of electricity, supplying its own needs and those of 13,000 households. Thanks to this partnership, 30,000 MWh/year of heat will now be fed back into a virtuous cycle to heat Lisaqua’s infrastructure.
