Paul Ravetto at the Europ’énergies Forum 2025
End of the ARENH: anticipating and managing energy market instability
On July 1, 2025, Paul Ravetto, partner at Ravetto Associés, will participate in the annual Europ’énergies Forum. He will moderate the plenary session entitled “Post-ARENH: How to manage volatility?”, which will bring together representatives from the CRE, DGEC, EDF, UNIDEN, Alpiq, CLEE, Octopus, and Vattenfall.
The Regulated Access to Historic Nuclear Electricity (ARENH) is a mechanism created by the NOME law (new organization of the electricity market) in 2010. It allows EDF’s competing suppliers to purchase part of the electricity produced by EDF’s historic nuclear fleet at a regulated tariff set by the State in order to pass on the benefits to their customers. This mechanism will end on December 31, 2025.
The plenary session will aim to shed light on the challenges of the new post-ARENH framework.
The Europ’énergies Forum is an annual event that brings together French-speaking buyers, suppliers, experts, and institutions to discuss, share, and find solutions in the field of energy. The 2025 forum will enable energy stakeholders to discuss the theme: “Regaining the keys to competitiveness in an uncertain geopolitical context.”
